⚡ Interconnection queue data viewer
I keep reading about how interconnection queues are a big impediment to clean energy deployment. I made a site to track interconnection queues across all the ISOs and a few utilities as well. Data is updated daily.

ABOUT
Of the five main greenhouse gas-emitting sectors, manufacturing tops the list, representing 31% of our global emissions. Decarbonizing what we make and how we make it is an enormous challenge that will require us to rethink our approach to manufacturing across the value chain—from sourcing and processing raw materials to production, packaging, distribution, and consumption. Thankfully, there are brilliant innovators and entrepreneurs already rolling up their sleeves to solve this mountainous task—10 of which will be taking the stage at our Manufacturing Sector Pitch Day to talk through their novel solutions.
Join us on December 6th for an afternoon deep dive into manufacturing decarbonization and the new technology that will bring us to a net-zero future. Hear from Greentown startups innovating in the manufacturing space and network with business leaders from various industry sectors

COP 28 (Blue Zone) IUCN Pavilion - Scaling Up Nature-Based Solutions in Urban Environments – Harvard, MIT, Architecture 2030, Climate Positive Design, ASLA, IFLA, Porous City Network

📝 Notes
Cities are an overlooked but critical opportunity to deploy Nature-Based Solutions. Urban infrastructure built with nature supports biodiversity, builds resilience and accelerates carbon mitigation. This panel will share both theory and case studies demonstrating that nature-based urban infrastructure is both possible and impactful.
According to a recent report by the World Wildlife fund, $90 trillion in infrastructure investment between now and 2030 will double the amount of infrastructure on the planet. Meeting that tremendous need through highly engineered, hard solutions will perpetuate and exacerbate a myriad of environmental problems. But when designed with nature in mind, the built environment can enhance habitat for biodiversity, promote human health, conserve precious water resources, lift up local and indigenous cultures, create local jobs, sequester carbon and increase the resilience of front-line communities. Because urban environments are responsible for 75% of global energy related emissions, they are a critical place to invest in nature.
This event will use case studies to illustrate the possibilities and challenges inherent in scaling up urban infrastructure built with nature, catalyzing private and public sector momentum. Pockets of the future are alive in the present, offering an achievable roadmap to harness nature for urban infrastructure solutions.
